Spring music brochure released!

We are delighted to release the new spring music brochure, which takes us from January through to the end of April. As ever, monthly services of Choral Eucharist and Choral Evensong are punctuated by a fantastic series of lunchtime concerts. Other highlights include a concert of Bach by candlelight to be performed by the prize-winning, Catalan cellist Gerard Flotats in February. Tickets are available through the website on the "Services, Concerts, Events" page. We also look forward to presenting John Rutter's Requiem as our musical meditation for Good Friday on 18th April. We hope you will find plenty to enjoy!

Welcome to our choral scholars for 2024-25!

A warm welcome (and welcome back) to our choral scholars for 2024-25! Many of you will already know Archie (who can be found amongst either the tenors or altos), but we are delighted to welcome Catherine to the sopranos. Both Archie and Catherine are students at Arts University Bournemouth, where they are also music scholars. We look forward to hearing much more from them over the coming year.

We were thrilled to welcome The Gesualdo Six to St Peter's on Friday 6th September for a performance of their 'Wishing Tree' programme. Performing to a capacity crowd, GVI delighted the audience with pieces composed between the fifteenth-century and present day.  A truly wonderful occasion!

2024-25 Choral Scholar Catherine sings at BBC Proms

Our new choral scholar for 2024-25 Catherine has had a busy summer of singing! If you have been following the BBC Proms and saw the recent performance of Beethoven's Ninth Symphony from memory, you may have spotted Catherine amongst the members of the National Youth Choir. You can look forward to hearing much more from Catherine at St Peter's this year!
